Ghana Premier League contenders Aduana FC have confirmed the signing of experienced centre-back Samuel Kuffour from Nations FC, completing a move that had been anticipated weeks earlier.
The Dormaa-based club made the announcement via their official Facebook page, formally welcoming the seasoned defender to the “Ogya” family.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of centre back Samuel Osei Kuffour from Nations FC. The defender joins the club on a long-term deal as we continue to strengthen the squad.”
Osei Kuffour arrives with a wealth of top-flight experience, having established himself as one of the most reliable defenders in the Ghana Premier League. His career has seen him feature prominently for Bechem United before moving to Nations FC, where he continued to demonstrate consistency, leadership, and defensive intelligence.

The centre-back joined Nations FC ahead of last season and quickly became a key figure at the back, racking up an impressive 29 league appearances. In the ongoing campaign, he has already featured nine times, underlining his durability and importance to the Sky Blues’ setup.
Despite boasting one of the league’s most solid defensive units, Aduana FC have moved decisively to add depth and experience to their backline. The acquisition of Osei Kuffour is seen as a strategic step aimed at reinforcing the squad as the club intensifies its push for the league title.
Currently sitting third on the Ghana Premier League table with 32 points, Aduana FC are firmly in the hunt for top honours. Intriguingly, Osei Kuffour could be handed an immediate debut this weekend, against his former side Nations FC, setting up a compelling subplot in an already crucial fixture.
