Ghanaian forward Carl Davordzie has wasted no time making his mark on the 2025/26 Romania Liga II season, finding the net in each of CSM Ceahlaul’s first two fixtures.
The 25-year-old was on target once again last Saturday, scoring in a 1-1 stalemate against Tunari. That was a week after netting the decisive goal in the season opener against Politehnica.
Both strikes reflected his trademark calmness under pressure, as he skipped past two defenders before slotting home with precision.

It should be recalled that last season, Davordzie tallied 11 goals and four assists in 29 appearances, and this term he has set his sights on reaching the 15-goal mark.
Confident in his form, the Ghanaian believes his contributions can be pivotal in driving CSM Ceahlaul’s push for promotion to the Romania Superliga, a target they have made a public secret.
The forward joined the team from Gloria Bistrita at the start of the 2024/25 campaign, and has since played 30 matches, scoring 13 goals and registering four assists. Meanwhile, internationally he has yet to receive a Ghana senior national team summon.
