Berekum Chelsea carried their pre-season form into the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League (GPL) by starting with a 2-0 victory against King Faisal Monday afternoon.
It was the second opening day game held at the Nana Agyeman Badu (NAB) I Stadium – barely 24 hours after Aduana FC pipped Hearts of Oak 1-0 at the same venue which has been temporarily adopted by the Bibires.
Coach Christopher Ennin’s side scored in either half of the encounter.
Berekum Chelsea were on the front foot from the go and had Mezack Afriyie opening the scoring in the 11th minute.
