On the eve of hitting 30, Ghana forward Sadat Karim gave himself a birthday treat with a goal and assist as Halmstads BK travelled to edge BK Hacken in a five-goal thriller in the 2021 Swedish Allsvenskan Saturday.
Despite scoring first, Halmstad went behind after BK Hacken scored two quick goals to take the lead in the first half.
The second half was all about Sadat and his masterclass won it for his side.
He equalized with a header in the 59th minute.
And 10 minutes from time, Sadat’s initial effort allowed Emil Tot Wikstrom to score on a rebound and hand visiting Halmstads all three points via a 3-2 victory.
It was a repeat of last year’s feat when Sadat scored and assisted on his 29th birthday.

Compatriot Thomas Boakye also lasted the entire duration of the game for Halmstads as a right-back.
The vital win takes Halmstads BK from the relegation zone with just a point separating them and Degerfors who have a game at hand to play.
