Ghanaian goalkeeper Daniel Agyei has made a return to Ethiopian club Jimma Aba Jifar after two months of absence.
The 28-year-old joined the Ethiopian Premier League newbies in October 2017 but featured in the opening three league matches before leaving the country after asking permission for days to complete a court issue.
After weeks of wait, the club announced that Agyei absconded his duty while under contract. The club was also in the process of filing a court case but repetitive negotiations between the two parties settled the case as Jimma Aba Jifar understands his court case.

In a chat with Ethiopian football website ‘Soccer Ethiopia’, the club president Esayas Jira announced Agyei’s return ahead of Wednesday’s round 13 tie against league leaders Dedebit in Addis-Ababa.
The club president, who is among the five presidential candidates of Ethiopian Football Federation Election in March, added that Agyei has successfully settled his court issue in Amsterdam and he will visit his daughter every month by traveling there. The club has agreed to give him a short leave every month to visit his daughter in Amsterdam.
The U-20 World Cup-winning Agyei has amused in opening three league matches and two goals were scored on him.
In his previous chat with Footy-Ghana.com, Agyei stated that he had told the club to cancel his contract.
Jimma Aba Jifar, a club from the western Ethiopian town Jimma, known by their World Number one coffee, are third on the league log with 18 points. Aside Daniel Agyei, Jimma is home for a Nigerian forward and Malian defender.
