Ghana goalkeeper Daniel Agyei is a ‘wanted man’, according to reports in the Ethiopian media.
The 28-year-old signed a one-year contract with Ethiopia Premier League newboys Jimma City three months ago.
But after featuring in the opening three games of the new season, Agyei is said to have asked for permission for days to complete a court issue in his homeland Ghana.
Last week, reports in a section of the Ethiopian media claimed the former Ghana U-20 World Cup winner was spotted in Amsterdam with his wife.
Unhappy about the turn of events, Jimma City reportedly informed the Ghana embassy in Addis-Ababa alleging that he absconded from duty.
Further reports now claim Jimma City are threatening to report the conduct of Daniel Agyei to the Ghana FA, Caf and Fifa.
