‘Black Stars is my next challenge’ – Grejohn Kyei declares

Clermont Foot’s Grejohn Kyei has his eyes set on a prestigious goal – playing for the esteemed national team of Ghana.

The 27-year-old striker continues to demonstrate his skillfulness in front of goal, bolstered by an unwavering drive and motivation fueled by his ambition.

Born in France but with Ghanaian heritage, Kyei was once a France youth international.

Despite being observed by Black Stars handlers, Kyei hasn’t received a call-up. Yet his ambition continues to burn brightly and he won’t give up until he fulfills his dream of donning the coveted jersey.

It looks like Kyei isn’t about to let anything slow down his progress towards achieving his grand ambition of playing for Ghana’s esteemed national team – the Black Stars.

“Yes! Afterwards, for the moment, I have not really been contacted, even if my entourage was approached before the 2022 World Cup.

“I know I’m being watched but I’ve never received a pre-selection. This is my next challenge to take up,” he told Ligue 1 website.

Kyei’s teammate Alidu Seidu is also part of Ghana’s Black Stars defence line-up.

This season Grejohn Kyei has netted nine times while assisting three during 25 starts in Ligue 1. Prior to joining Clermont Foot in 2022, he played for Swiss side Servette FC.
