Randy Abbey not ready for GFA President position

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Committee member, Randy Abbey, is not interesed in the FA President position.

The football management expert is focused on his club, Kpando Heart of Lions.

“I’m not interested in contesting for the GFA presidential seat, it is out of the equation,” Abbey told Asempa FM.

“The focus is on Heart of Lions now and the work ahead.”

Having acquired a 70 percent ownership stake in the club, Randy Abbey has played an instrumental role in its success.

The club recently emerged victorious in the Zone 3 Division One League, securing a spot for the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

Ghana Football heads to the polls soon as Kurt Okraku’s four-year tenure comes to an end in October 2023.
