Heart of Lions Chief Randy Abbey has expressed optimisim for the club’s future after securing promotion for next season’s Ghana Premier League.
The Kpando-based outfit made their return to the top-flight after winning Zone 3 of the 2022/23 Division One League.
Abbey has revealed that the team will undergo massive improvements before the 2023/24 season.
“First of all, if you talk about the team, Lions has been properly run and operates like a Premier League team.
“If you speak with people in the Division, they will tell you but it does not mean we will not improve before the Premier League,” Abbey said.
“We will improve for now and the future as a team with a properly set-out plan.”
Lions have been absent from the top division for the past eight years, and the team’s return has brought excitement.
