Ofosu, Osei Wusu goals power Samartex to victory over Nsoatreman

A goal in either half propelled FC Samartex 1996 to a 2-0 win over Nsoatreman FC in their 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 28 clash Wednesday afternoon.

Coming off a defeat by the same margin at Dreams FC over the weekend, the Timber giants started brightly at their favourite Nsenkyire Sports Arena (NSA) with Kwasi Ofosu scoring in the opening minute.

Topping his man-of-the-match performance, winger Evans Osei Wusu netted the second goal in the 58th minute to ensure victory.

Samartex dominated the majority of the contest and deservedly won the full points, lending some reassurance to their chances of survival. The Samreboi-based club trickly sit 8th in the 18-team GPL standings with 39 points while fellow debutants Nsoatreman are also just above the drop on 34 after 28 matches.
