Bechem United Coach Kasim Mingle is full of excitement after his side’s win against Hearts of Oak at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park Saturday.
The Hunters managed to hold on to Hafiz Konkoni’s goal in the 21st minute to pick a 1-0 win over the Phobians on match-week 27 of the 2022/23 league season.
Kassim Mingle, speaking to reporters after the victory expressed his delight and satisfaction for his side’s performance.
“My players were fantastic. They played the way we planned to play and according to the system we adopted to use today.
“So l congratulate them for the result.
“The win is very important for us in terms of the chase for the league title. We have beaten all those above us so we remain confident.
“And in this league, every team is stronger at their home venue so we have also set our minds psychologically to win against all our visitors.”⁷
The win takes Bechem United to the 2nd position on the log with 44 points as they await the results of the Kotoko – Aduana match.
Aduana are league leaders with 47 points from 26 games.
Bechem’s next clash is an away fixture gainst King Faisal.
