After their first away win at King Faisal the last time out, the Bibires returned to their favourite Golden City Park home venue on match-day 19. The visitors had also won twice on the bounce and were hoping to get a result on the road.
For 76 minutes, the game remained goalless until midfielder Collins Ameyaw finally broke the deadlock.
Berekum Chelsea managed to see out the rest of the game to win 1-0.
The scorer of the match-winning goal, Ameyaw, won the man-of-the-match award.
With 28 points, Berekum Chelsea climb to 7th in the standings, whereas Samartex currently sit in 10th place, two points behind.
