The West Africa Football Union (Wafu) Zone B has confirmed a new date for the delayed maiden edition of its U-20 Women’s Cup of Nations.
The 7-nation competition, confirmed to be hosted by Ghana, had been scheduled for February 12-26, 2022.
But the plans of the sub-regional body could not hold.
Now on Tuesday, February 28, more than a year than scheduled, Wafu Zone-B has announced their new date for the championship for women within the U-20 age category.
The Cape Coast Sports Stadium will now host the two-week competition from May 20 to June 2, 2023.

Wafu Zone-B consists of 7 nations namely; Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria and Togo.
