Bibiani GoldStars threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 away to Great Olympics on match-day 12 of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League (GPL) on Thursday.
Richmond Opoku Manu tapped home from close range to get his name on the score sheet 27 minutes into the game at Accra Sports Stadium, giving GoldStars a 1-0 first-half lead.
Olympics – without head coach Yaw Preko due to ill health – then found themselves 2-0 down through an Ebenezer Aboagye clever chip in the 61st minute.
Until the last 5 minutes of regulation time, GoldStars looked on course for a third away win this campaign.
But they failed to hold on to the lead as the Dade Boys netted two goals in as many minutes to pull level.
Emmanuel Antwi and Aryeetey Ayikwei scored in the 85th and 87th minutes respectively to make the final score 2-2.
The points shared see Great Olympics sit 13th in the league standings with 16 points while Bibiani GoldStars occupy the 4th spot with 19 after 12 games.
