Great Olympics ran out 2-0 winners against Kotoku Royals in their 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 13 clash at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The defeat is the 10th for the bottom-placed newcomers to the Ghanaian topflight.
Olympics – who had head coach Yaw Preko returning to the bench after taking ill before their midweek home draw against Bibiani GoldStars – took the lead through Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye in the 29th minute.
Aryeetey Ayikwei then scored in the 76th minute to hand the visitors a 2-0 cushion – another goal in successive games for the attacker.
The win takes Great Olympics to 19 points and in 7th place on the league log. Kotoku Royals, meanwhile, have just 7 points after 13 matches.
