Boateng played 24 league games (1,479 minutes) and scored 4 goals to help Kotoko win the GPL title in his debut season.
But he has found it increasingly difficult to get playing time this campaign, managing just a start and 5 substitute appearances (totalling 115 minutes).
Samuel Boateng joins a Samartex side that has found goalscoring quite some huge task in the GPL. The newcomers – lying just above the relegation zone – have scored just 8 goals after 13 matches.
