Ghana’s Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey has been named as an assistant referee for the opening match of the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN).
The tournament kicks off on Friday, January 13 with hosts Algeria coming up against Libya at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki, Algiers.
39-year-old Brobbey will act as the second assistant referee.

The centre referee is South Africa’s Abongile Tom.
