Dreams FC ensured maximum points from their opening fixtures by beating new entrants Kotoku Royals 1-0 in their 2022/23 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 2 clash Saturday afternoon.
For most parts of the game at Dawu Park, Kotoku Royals sat deep trying to repel the attacks from the hosts.
But they did not succeed when Ishmael Dede received a big boot upfield from the back. The youngster held off and turned his marker around before squaring the ball into the box for striker Ali Huzaif – who was in close attendance – to prod home the only goal of the game in the 71st minute. Watch goal.

Kotoku Royals could not respond equally as Dreams FC rolled to their second win in as many games in the new GPL campaign.
Dreams FC’s Simba Sylvester won the man-of-the-match award.
