Asante Kotoko have announced the addition of goalkeeper Frederick Asare to their squad ahead of the 2022/23 season.
As reported earlier by footy-ghana.com, the 23-year-old has joined the Porcupine Warriors on a free transfer after leaving Premier League side Accra Lions FC after the end of last season.
Asare played 28 matches for Lions and kept 13 clean sheets overall in the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko first-choice goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim will be backed by Asare who is expected to be the number two for the spot as it stands.
The young shot-stopper will join his new teammates on Wednesday to begin their pre-season training.
Kotoko will later fly to Turkey to continue the pre-season from August 15.
