Asante Kotoko’s 2022/23 official jersey no longer has the image of Life Patron of the club, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The Porcupine Warriors released the upcoming designs themed “Pillar of Peace” in honour of the Asantehene.
It had Opemsuo’s picture placed on the lower right side of the shirt.
Kotoko’s management was summoned to the Manhyia Palace and it is understood that the discussion was on the jersey’s design.
The Porcupines have now removed the image from the kit.
We have after further considerations in collaboration with Errea amended our 2022/23 Kits.
