Danlad Ibrahim extends Kotoko stay till 2024

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has extended his stay at the club for another two years.

The shot-stopper was reported to join Sudanese giants Al Hilal but the deal failed after both sides could not reach an agreement.

Danlad, who is the first-choice goalkeeper for Kotoko will now help the club compete in the CAF Champions League.

The Reds will also look to defend the league title they won last year and battle for the FA Cup.

In the Black Galaxies squad for the 2022 CHAN qualifiers, Danlad is the number one for head coach Annor Walker.

He featured in Ghana’s 4-0 aggregate win over Benin.

His extension at the Porcupines will also help the locally-based national side, looking to qualify for the CHAN.
