WATCH HIGHLIGHTS: How Ghana beat Benin in CHAN qualifier

Ghana are through to the final round of the African Nations Championship qualifiers after beating Benin 1-0 on Saturday.

The Black Galaxies defeated their opponents in Cotonou at the Stade de l’Amitié to complete the double over their West African opponents 4-0 on aggregate.

Hearts of Oak striker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, who scored the first goal in the first leg, produced the winner in Cotonou in the 82nd minute.

The Black Galaxies will come up against Nigeria in the final round of the qualifiers to book a place in Algeria for the tournament.

Ghana has failed to qualify for the tournament in the last three editions. The local-based national side have played in two finals of the CHAN, losing to DR Congo and Libya.
