Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu is not perturbed about rumours of an imminent departure from the club.
The club’s Board member, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe revealed in an interview, the club’s decision to replace the young tactician with a new coach following their poor performance in Africa.
But for Samuel Boadu, coaches are hired to be fired.
“As a coach, you can’t sit in one place forever. Even if I win thousand trophies with Hearts of Oak, I can’t stay here forever.
“It’s either I leave or the club will part ways with me one day,” he said on Asempa FM Friday.
Since joining Hearts of Oak less than two years ago, Samuel Boadu has guided Hearts of Oak to five trophies with the last being the FA Cup in Kumasi.
The Phobians head to the 2022/23 Caf Confederation Cup in a bid to redeem themselves from the abysmal campaign last season in the two continental competitions.
