Ghana Premier League to announce title sponsor – Henry Asante

The Ghana Premier League will soon have a title sponsor, according to Ghana Football Association Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum.

The top-flight division has been without a partner for the last three years since their $10million deal with Zylofon got terminated.

But Twum has confirmed that positive negotiations have been made and an agreement should be made soon.

“The Ghana Football Association is close to securing a headline sponsor for the Ghana Premier League,” he told Onua TV.

“We will sign the contract in the coming days and reveal them before the start of the new season in September.”

The recent league ended with Asante Kotoko as champions and Hearts of Oak winning the 2020/21 edition.

The two clubs will represent Ghana in continental assignments in the 2022/23 football season.

Kotoko will feature in the Caf Champions League while Hearts play in the Confederation Cup for winning the 2021/22 FA Cup.
