Cameroon striker Kaaba agrees to join Hearts on two-year deal with option

Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are on the brink of completing the signing of Cameroon striker Junior Kaaba.

Footy-Ghana.com can confirm that personal terms have been reached between both parties.

The Phobians are looking to secure their man hopefully next week as he is scheduled to travel to Accra for mandatory medical and other paperwork.

Kaaba and the Phobians settled on a two-year contract which comes with a one-year extension option.

The 23-year-old – who can also operate from the wings – impressed in the just-ended 2021/22 Cameroon Elite One Championship featuring for Yaounde-based Fauve Azur FC, a side he only joined from Colombe Sport in October 2021.

Kaaba hogged the headlines when he scored 7 goals in the first round of the league. He completed the season with 11 goals and 4 assists in 20 games as Fauve Azur managed to survive the Cameroonian topflight.

Junior Kaaba is currently with the Cameroon homed-based national team who are preparing for this month’s CHAN 2022 qualifiers.
