Ghana will begin their chase for glory at the 2022 Fifa U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica from Group D.
The Black Princesses discovered they will be battling with USA, Japan and the Netherlands in the tough group during a live draw held in San Jose Thursday night.
The 16-team tournament is scheduled for August 10-28.
Ghana will open their campaign in the group against record winners USA at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto on August 11 before taking on reigning champions Japan in their second game at the same venue three days later.
The final group game for the Princesses is against the Netherlands on August 17 at Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica.
Africa’s other representatives, the Falconets of Nigeria, got placed in Group C together with France, Canada and Korea Republic.
