Medeama knock down RTU 2-1 at Tarkwa

Medeama SC defeated Real Tamale United (RTU) 2-1 in their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 24 clash Sunday afternoon.

All three goals came in the first half of the game at Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa.

It was the Mauve and Yellows who struck first through winger Darlington Gyanfosu Appiah after just 8 minutes.

But the Mohammed Sadat pegged back for the visitors just 11 minutes later.

Forward Ansu Kofi Patrick restored the lead to 2-1 in the 27th minute.

And that proved enough to hand Medeama their 11th win in 24 league matches this campaign.

Medeama SC move to position 5 with 39 points, same as Aduana FC and Great Olympics who place above them. RTU drop to 15th position with 25 points.
