Karela United came from behind to whip Elmina Sharks 3-1 in their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 23 clash Sunday afternoon.
It was the visiting bottom-placed Sharks who caused a shock at Crosby Awuah Memorial (CAM) Park with a goal after 9 minutes through Michael Asamoah.
But striker Emmanuel Dagadu started his NASCO man-of-the-match performance with the equalizer in the 15th minute.
Winger Emmanuel Owusu Boakye then gave Karela a 2-1 lead two minutes after the half-hour mark.
Dagadu returned to the score sheet 11 minutes into the second half and that killed any hopes of a comeback for the Fearsome Sharks.
Karela United now climb to position 7 in the league standings with 33 points.
Elmina Sharks are stuck bottom with 15 points after their 16th defeat.
