2022 WCQ: Tunisian Sadok Selmi leads referees for Nigeria vs Ghana decider

Tunisian referee, Sadok Selmi will take charge of the 2022 Fifa World Cup African playoffs second-leg between Nigeria and Ghana in Abuja.

The West African rivals played out a barren stalemate in the first leg encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium Friday night.

The Super Eagles are now scheduled to play home in the reverse fixture on Tuesday, March 29 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium.

Referee Selmi, 37, is to be helped on the lines by compatriot Khelil Hassani (Assistant I) and Mseaed Attia (Assistant II) from Libya.

Another Tunisian, Haythem Guirat will be the fourth official.

Meanwhile, the task of supervising the “VAR” technology has been entrusted to French duo Jérôme Brisard as main VAR and Willy Louis Delajod as VAR assistant.

The Nigeria-Ghana second leg kicks off at 17:00 GMT.
