#DOLwk13 Zone Three Wrap: Tema Youth held, Golden Kicks win at Kwaebibrem

Liberty Professionals and Kpando Hearts of Lions picking wins from their respective games slashed Tema Youth’s lead at the top of the table and second place Kotoku Royals were beaten by FC Nania.

Akatsi All Stars and Golden Kicks had the only away wins from these round of games. Leaders Tema Youth had to share the spoils at Krystal Palace. Also, Inter Allies held Vision to a goalless draw at the Theatre of Dreams.

Liberty Professionals 2–1 Accra City Stars

There were two late goals on the 85th and the 90+3 minutes for Jabir Ibrahim and Daniel Antwi respectively that got Liberty Professionals all 3 points after the Visitors had shot ahead in the first half.

Liberty’s win means only 3 points separates the top four teams and Accra City Stars remain 6th with 22 points, also just a point lesser than Liberty Professionals.

Krystal Palace 0–0 Tema Youth

Akosombo Krystal Palace held table toppers, Tema Youth to a goalless draw game on Wednesday at the Akotex Park.

Tema Youth will be panting despite enjoying a 2-point lead at the summit of the table – currently on 26 points and followed closely by Kotoku Royals on 24 points.

Krystal Palace continues to be in the relegation zone with 14 points after match week 13.

Kwaebibirem 0–1 Golden Kicks

Emmanuel Sarfo scored the only goal of the game for Visiting side Golden Kicks against Kwaebibirem at the Akim Oda Sports Stadium.

It’s now two wins on the trot for the newbies, pushing to 15 points with its 4th win of the season. Kwaebibirem on 10 points continues to be in the relegation zone.

Hearts of Lions 1–0 Susubiribi FC

Ebenezer Abban scored a 90+9 minutes goal to hand Hearts of Lions all points at home to Susubiribi SC at the Kpando Park on Wednesday.

Hearts of Lions has pushed to the 4th position with 23 points, one point better than Susubiribi SC at the 5th position.

FC Nania 2–1 Kotoku Royals

FC Nania got its 3rd win of the season with a 2 – 1 win over Kotoku Royals at the Legon Nania Park on Wednesday.

It was a heated second half which produced 3 goals; first Clement Awuonyo got the opener for the visiting side which was levelled 5 minutes later by Francis Fiifi Ghartey before Nania shot ahead for the win through Kojo Zimbo on the 85th minute.

Nania pushed outside the drop zone on 14 points at the 13th position – Kotoku Royals remains 2 points from leaders Tema Youth.

Vision FC 0–0 International Allies

Vision FC and International Allies shared the points at the Theatre of Dreams on Wednesday.
Two points separates the two teams; Vision on 18 points and Allies 2 points less.

Mighty Jets 3–0 Accra Young Wise

Mighty Jets were the big winners of match week 13. Three second half goals Sumaila Wasiu and two from Thomas Antonio ensured the job was beyond bottom placed Accra Young Wise.

Jets moves to 17 points with the win and 8th on the league log – Accra Young Wise continues the search for its first win of the season, on 4 points after 13 match weeks.

Uncle T United 0–1 Akatsi All Stars

At the Fred Crentsil Park, Akatsi Royals secured a vital 1–0 win away to Uncle T. FC.
A 32nd minute strike from Emmanuel Yao Denuveme handed all points to Akatsi All Stars.

Akatsi is currently out of the drop zone on 16 points, a point better than Uncle T. FC after match week 13.
