‘$100 from 100,000 fans and we will build a stadium in 18 months,’ says Kotoko CEO

Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah has plans of building a stadium for the club with $100 each from 100,000 fans.

The football brain hopes to construct a 20,000 seater stadium for the team and avoid paying huge sums to the National Sports Authority for using the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“I need 100,000 committed supporters and we will build a stadium for Asante Kotoko in 18 months.

“They should just pay $100 one-off,” Amponsah told Oyerepa Sports.

“Every fan that pays this $100 will have his or her name and date of birth inscribed on a brick for the wall of the stadium.”

Kotoko are currently putting finishing touches to their Adako Jachie training complex which is expected to be completed late 2022.

The Porcupines also received a new Volvo B&R BioSafe Executive Coach from sponsors, Access Bank.
