Despite a dominating performance, Great Olympics failed to pick all three points when they hosted Karela United on match-day 12 of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL).
Karela were chasing their first away win of the season in this visit to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Olympics got the game off to a great start by controlling and creating enough chances but failed to put the ball at the back of the net.
Raymond Okoe Gripmman eventually scored in the 67th minute to put Olympics ahead.
The lead came after great dominance by the Dade Boys.
The Passioners looked like heading back to Aiyinase empty-handed till three minutes from time when young midfielder Emmanuel Owusu Boakye – who had come off the bench – scored a beauty to level the scores.
With 18 points from 12 games, Great Olympics remain 6th on the log and will have to bounce back to winning ways against Medeama at Tarkwa.
Karela United will travel to King Faisal in search of a win that could move them to the top half of the league standings. The Passioners are currently lying 11th on the log with 14 points.
