Aduana FC finished off their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day four game with a 5-1 thumping of RTU at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park Sunday morning.

The fixture which was rained-off Saturday afternoon continued with the Fire Boys proving their dominance to bag their first win of the campaign.

Bright Adjei opened the scoring in the 6th minute but Stephen Badu Dankwah scored in the 23rd minute to draw RTU level.

The game could not continue from the 56th minute and it had to resume Sunday morning.

The Fire Boys, now fresh and raring to go,  regained their lead through Eric Kwakwa in the 66th minute and Yahaya Mohammed extended the lead ten minutes later with a thumping header.

RTU widened their chance of getting back in the game when Yussif Mohammed scored an own-goal two minutes later.

Bright Adjei then netted his second of the match to hand the Fire Boys a humbling 5-1 win over the Premier League returnees.

Now Aduana head to Legon Cities for match-day five and RTU will look to bounce back to winning ways when they play AshantiGold in Tamale.
