The First Lady of Ghana has urged Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies to beat Mamelodi Sundowns in the final of the Caf Women’s Champions League on Friday, November 19.
Rebecca Akufo-Addo has shown immense supports to Hasaacas Ladies since their triumph in Abidjan in the WAFU Zone B Championship.
The first lady said in a post via her Facebook page wall that she has had an interaction with the team and they assured him of winning the trophy.
“A few hours ago, I spoke to the coach, management and playing body of this wonderful team HASAACAS LADIES F C. I wished them well, on behalf of all of us. They assured me they will bring the cup home. Let’s all pray and cheer them on to victory. Doooooooooooooooo,” she posted.
Hasaacas Ladies will play Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies at 17:00 GMT.
