Eleven Wonders battle to 0-0 draw at Berekum Chelsea

Eleven Wonders picked a point in their match-week two Ghana Premier League fixture against Berekum Chelsea at Golden City Park Sunday afternoon.

The goalless stalemate means the Bibires are winless in their two games this season, just like Wonders.

Both sides kick-started the match, creating decent chances in finding the opener but were wasteful upfront.

Chelsea looked the brighter side in midfield, having more of the ball but goalkeeper Abdulai Ibrahim was superb in the first half.

The second half began with Berekum Chelsea again, in control on more occasions. Wonders, on the other hand, opted to go physical and it yielded results.

The closing stages of the game saw the home side pressuring better for the opener but Wonders had plans to pick at least a point from neighbouring Berekum.

The match-day three of the Ghana Premier League will see Berekum Chelsea travelling to Karela United while Wonders welcome Medeama.
