Ghana’s Amidu Iddrisu has joined El Gouna FC on the Egyptian Premier League transfer deadline day.
The young bulky striker, from Cheetah FC in the Ghanaian Division Two, was handed a four-year contract after training twice in a short trial exercise.

The 19-year-old, known for his great shooting abilities, expressed joy after signing on Thursday:
“I’m very happy to have signed by El Gouna FC, a very respectable club.
“This is my first stage outside Ghana and it’s a big stage. I believe it’s a good stage and I’m going to make good use of it.”
“I’m very grateful to the president of Cheetah FC for his immense contribution to my career and this stage in my career,” Amidu added.
Sporting Director Hossam El-Zanaty also stated: “Amidu has huge potential to become a top striker in the future. We are going to work on him to bring the best out of him, he is very much welcome to the city of El Gouna.”
Amidu Iddrisu was sidelined by injury at the beginning of last season but after recovering, he scored 4 goals out of 5 matches to help Cheetah FC qualify for the Central Region Division 2 Middle League.
He went on to net twice in as many matches in the Middle League,
