Asante Kotoko have secured a game against local side Al Hilal United on Thursday, October 14 as their first pre-season friendly fixture for 2021/22 campaign preparations being held in Dubai.
The lower-tier side, which had former Inter Allies midfielder Abraham Okyere play for them on loan last season, will host the record Ghanaian champions at Al Hamriyah Sport and Cultural Club, Sharjah.
The match kicks off at 8:30 am local time (04:30 GMT).

The Porcupine Warriors have been in Dubai since last week fine-tuning for the upcoming Ghana season scheduled to get underway from October 29.
Thursday’s game against the Hawks will be Kotoko’s first since their almost one-month-long pre-season exercise.
Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum also has two more games lined up for his side to be played on October 18 and 20 before the Porcupine Warriors travel back home two days later.
After going trophyless in the 2020/21 campaign, Asante Kotoko will be hoping to topple sworn rivals Hearts of Oak who swept both the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup titles in the coming season.
