Official: Richard Boadu completes Kotoko switch

Asante Kotoko have officially confirmed the signing of Richard Boadu from Medeama SC.

The 23-year-old stalwart midfielder cost the record Ghana Premier League winners GH150,000 in transfer fees.

Boadu signed for three years and will thus be at the club at least until September 2024.

ย The Porcupine Warriors announced the capture of the player they have been chasing for the past year across their socials Monday.

Boadu joined Medeama from Phar Rangers in 2018. In his final season at Tarkwa, he bagged 24 Ghana Premier League outings and scored once – against his new employers Kotoko at Obuasi.

Richard Boadu has become Kotokoโ€™s eighth signing ahead of the 2021/22 football season.

He immediately joins his new teammates in pre-season preparation at the club’s Adako-Jachie Training Centre Monday morning.
