Ghana midfielder George Amoako has signed for Libyan side Al Ahly Benghazi.
The 22-year-old joined from Liberty who suffered relegation from the Ghana Premier League at the end of the 2020/21 season,
Enterprising Amoako put pen to paper on a three-year contract to become the club’s 8th new signing.
Earlier in January, the highly-rated defensive midfielder came close to joining Tunisian club US Tataouine but he pulled out of the deal at the last minute over some unfavourable development after travelling to join the North African club.
Amoako returned home to complete the season with 20 league appearances for Liberty.
