Aduana FC release 8 players ahead of 2021/22 season

Two-time Ghana Premier League champions, Aduana FC have officially said goodbye to eight players from last season’s squad.

These players are departing the Nana Agyeman Badu I Stadium outfit to make room for new arrivals upon the recommendation of head coach Joseph Asare Bediako.

Experienced defender Tijani Joshua is arguably the most high-profile player on the Aduana released list.

The 29-year-old leaves the Fire Club almost two years after joining as a free agent from AshantiGold in January 2020.

Joining him on the list include Charles Gyamfi Kamara, Pius Asante, Richard Nathan, John Nyamekye, Benjamin Owusu, Richard Mantey and Baba Adamu.

The released players are free to sign for another club as free agents.

Aduana FC finished fourth at the end of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League and would be hoping for improved fortunes in the upcoming new campaign which kicks off October 29.
