Real Tamale United Communications Chief, Sey Mubarick says the club are only interested in staying in the Ghana Premier League for long.
The Tamale-based outfit sealed their ticket to the top-flight of Ghana football after winning Zone One of the 2020/21 Division One League.
It has been 8 years since RTU played in the Ghana Premier League and Mubarick, speaking on Y102.5FM says their target is to play in the league for long.
“RTU are not newcomers in the Ghana Premier League and we know what to expect and how difficult the games will be.
“We respect all these big clubs, Kotoko, Hearts, Ashantigold and the rest. But the most important thing is to prepare well and face the task ahead of us.
The Communications Head continued: “We want to stay in the Premier League and we achieved the target and now we want to make a claim for ourselves.
“RTU wants to showcase the quality and prove why we qualified from the Division One League.”
Bibiani Gold Stars and Accra Lions are the other two sides who will be playing in the 2021/22 league.
RTU will be lead by experienced gaffer Ibrahim Shaibu Tanko who has had spells at Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC.
