#FootyTransfers: Orlando Pirates finally unveil Kwame Peprah

South African giants, Orlando Pirates have finally confirmed the signing of Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah from King Faisal FC.

The 20-year-old sealed his switch to the Dstv Premiership side for $150,000 about a fortnight ago but his announcement was delayed by visa issues.

Earlier this week, it emerged that Peprah had first travelled to South Africa with a single entry visa and had been allowed to return to Ghana to reapply for an updated visa while also making the necessary additional arrangements for his relocation.

Finally, on Thursday, the Buccanneers unveiled Peprah as a new signing for the next three years alongside a Nigerian defender.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of two players – Olisah Ndah, who joins from newly crowned Nigerian Premier League champions Akwa United and Kwame Peprah from King Faisal Football Club in Ghana.

“…Peprah on the hand, is a striker who joins having had a stellar individual season for the Babes, as the club is affectionately known. The Ghanaian produced a goal tally return of 12 goals and 10 assists in his 29 appearances for his club this past season.”
