Coach Kobina Amissah takes over FC Samartex

FC Samartex 1996 have appointed Kobina Amissah to lead them as new head coach.

The appointment forms part of club’s plans to book topflight qualification in the upcoming Division One League.

Amissah has, in the past, guided four different clubs to qualify to the Ghana Premier League with three of them coming from Zone Two.

The experienced gaffer recently ended his stay with Bibiani Gold Stars mutually after qualifying them to the upcoming 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

In other appointments, former Asante Kotoko management member, Edmund Ackah has joined Samartex as new General Manager.

Paul Ayanba, formerly of Skyy FC, has also been appointed as the Samreboi-based club’s new Business Development Manager.
