Olympics re-sign Sulley Ibrahim after KF Tirana spell

Midfielder Sulley Ibrahim has rejoined Great Olympics after an unsuccessful one-season spell with Albanian giants KF Tirana.

The former Ghana U-17 starlet left the Dade Boys in September 2020 for his first European stint.

But Sulley could not make the desired impact as the then champions failed to defend the title and finished 5th at the end of the 2020/21 Kategoria Superiore.

The 19-year-old could only manage 138 minutes from four matches throughout the season – two each in the league and cup competitions.

After being released by Tirana, Sulley is back home and reunited with Olympics for the next three years, the Capital-based club announced Friday.

Great Olympics finished sixth in the just-ended 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
