Medeama SC came from behind twice before overpowering Elmina Sharks 3-2 in their Ghana Premier League match-day 32 meeting at Akoon Park Sunday.
Tahir Mensah put the relegation-threatened visitors in the lead as early as the third minute. The opener was his third goal in successive games.
But left-back Fatawu Sulemana pulled parity for Medeama in the 11th minute.
Edmund Asiedu restored the lead in the 24th minute for Sharks
Centre-back Vincent Atingah then ensured Medeama will go into the break on level terms by scoring his second goal since arriving in the second transfer window right on the 45th-minute mark.
Medeama went ahead to snatch the winner through Ebenezer Ackahbi in the 78th minute.
Ackahbi emerged NASCO man-of-the-match.
The 3-2 victory sees Medeama – on 51 points – climb to third position while Elmina Sharks remain second from bottom of the league standings with 35 points after 32 matches.
