Ebusua Dwarfs have been relegated from Ghana’s topflight despite beating Bechem United at home on the final day of the 2020/21 league season.
Midfielder Seidu Abubakar gave Dwarfs the lead in the 20th minute to give them hopes of survival.
Nine minutes later, Richard Amoah doubled the lead at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Abdul Karim had the consolation for Bechem 5 minutes from time.
The 2-1 win, however, was not enough to save Dwarfs from relegation.
Sharing 41 points with King Faisal and Elmina Sharks after 34 matches, the Cape Coast-based outfit place below them due to an inferior head-to-head record.
Ebusua Dwarfs finish the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League in 16th position and head to Division One with Liberty Professionals and bottom club Inter Allies.
