The Black Stars of Ghana are back home after Tuesday night’s international friendly defeat to Morocco.
The senior national team travelled to the North African country where they played the Atlas Lions at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor’s side lost 1-0 to Morocco despite putting up a stellar performance on Tuesday.
Defender Jawad El-Yamiq scored the goal in the 68th minute.
Ghana have another friendly against cross-border neighbours Cote d’Ivoire at the Cape Coast stadium on Saturday, June 12.
Coach Akonnor’s side moved straight to Cape Coast to prepare for the tie.
