English Championship side, Swansea City have confirmed that star man Andre Ayew is leaving the club a free agent.
The 31-year-old Ghana international is among four players who “have seen their contracts come to an end and will depart the Liberty Stadium,” said the club while confirming its retained list following the end of the 2020/21 season on Friday.
Ayew has been the club’s top scorer for the past two seasons, amassing 35 goals since returning from a loan spell at Fenerbahce.
He combined 106 appearances since rejoining Swansea for a second spell from West Ham for an initial £18m in January 2018.
Andre Ayew originally joined Swansea on a free transfer from Olympique Marseille back in 2015, scoring 12 goals in 35 appearances in the Premier League, before joining West Ham for £20.5m the following season.
The Black Stars is highly tipped for a move to a Premier League club should he decide to stay in England.
