Ghana midfielder Hans Nunoo Sarpei expects to continue with German Bundesliga returnees Greuther Fürth in the coming season.
Racking up 28 appearances, the 22-year-old helped Furth finish second in the 2020/21 2.Bundesliga campaign and head back to the top division for just the second time in club history, and the first time since 2012.
In July 2019, Sarpei signed a permanent contract of three years with Greuther Fürth after excelling on an initial loan spell from VfB Stuttgart.
The defensive midfielder is entering the final year of his contract and is yet to be rewarded an extension. But that is not a bother for the youngster at the moment.
“My ambition is to play in the Bundesliga.
“To cut a long story short, I am staying in Fürth.
“I am staying with my team to go and enjoy the Bundesliga,” Nunoo Sarpei stated on The Tracker on Citi TV.
