Another defeat as Black Meteors fall 4-0 to Japan U-24

The Black Meteors of Ghana faced off with the Japan U-24s again, this time, losing 4-0 in a training grounds match on Tuesday morning.

The first meeting last Saturday ended 6-0 at Best Denki Stadium.

This time Japan scored twice in either half against the Ghanaians who were seeking revenge for the heavy defeat they suffered.

Forwards Hayashi Daichi and Tagawa Kyosuke scored two quick goals in the opening 45 minutes.

In the second half, Itakura Kou made it 3-0 for Japan before Cerignola centre-back Frank Owusu Amoabeng scored an own goal.

The Black Meteors will travel to South Korea where they will face the Korean U24 team in two friendly matches scheduled for June 12 and 15.
